A day dedicated to the Granoro Dedicato Supply Chain, with journalists and industry professionals.
Monday, June 16 – we had the honor of hosting another significant event here at Molino De Vita: Gran Giorno 2025 – La Giornata del Grano, organized in collaboration with Granoro and dedicated to journalists, content creators, and professionals from the agri-food sector.
A full day designed to tell, show, and let participants experience up close the supply chain of the Granoro Dedicato 100% Puglia project, following a journey that starts in the fields and ends at the table, passing through our milling facility in Casalvecchio di Puglia.
The morning began with a warm welcome and coffee break, followed by a visit to the wheat fields that are part of the “Dedicato” agricultural supply chain. Walking through the fields alongside those who tell and interpret food every day was a powerful way to convey the true value of the raw material and the people who cultivate it.
Back at the mill, after screening an institutional video about Granoro, Giandomenico Marcone presented the "Dedicato" project, highlighting how this supply chain represents an advanced model of traceability, quality, and territorial identity:
“The Granoro Dedicato project is built on the clear and strong identification of one territory: Puglia.
We select Apulian wheat and build around it a supply chain that is traceable, transparent, and monitored at every step.
That’s why we’re proud to work with partners like Molino De Vita – a tailor-made mill, specialized in organic and traceable semolina, capable of combining technology, expertise, and artisan sensitivity.”
In his speech, Marcone also acknowledged Vincenzo De Vita, farmer and father of Nicola, recognizing him as the founder of the mill and as a symbol of all those who work the land every day with dedication and passion. He then offered a heartfelt thanks to Nicola De Vita and his family, describing theirs as “a unique case,” because since the beginning, the company has pursued a single clear goal: to deliver quality products. The relationship between Molino De Vita and Granoro has lasted for over 15 years, built on mutual trust and a shared vision of supply chain integrity.
Nicola De Vita, hosting the event, welcomed guests and emphasized the importance of opening the doors of the mill to share – in a direct and transparent way – what happens behind every grain that is transformed:
“We are a tailor-made mill. This means that every customer, every project, every semolina we produce is unique.
And we cannot speak of quality without talking about our bond with the territory. That’s why we joined the localtourism.it protocol and invested in blockchain traceability through the Authentico platform.
For us, telling the story of wheat means telling the story of the people who grow it, who transform it, and who bring it to our tables every day.”
Afterwards, participants joined a guided tour of the mill, discovering up close the selection and milling processes that define our careful, precise, and responsible artisanal approach. The day concluded with a light lunch featuring Granoro products and local specialties – a moment of sharing, flavor, and discussion about the future of the Italian agri-food supply chain.
For us at Molino De Vita, it was both an honor and a responsibility.
Hosting the “Gran Giorno Granoro” meant sharing not just a way of working, but a way of thinking: that good food is born from conscious choices, skilled hands, and businesses that believe in the supply chain as a cultural model, even before a productive one.
Those who know us already understand.
And those who don’t – now have a chance to discover it.
Our door is always open.
